Printing, PDFs and gig view
The worksheet turns the chart into drum notation on letter-size pages: the song details at the top, each section with its name, repeat count, notes and lyric cue.
Print or save a PDF
- Press Print in the header, or under More on a phone. The worksheet opens in a new tab.
- Choose a layout with the buttons at the top (below).
- Press Print / Save as PDF. In the print dialog, pick your printer, or choose Save as PDF as the destination.
Pages break between lines of music, never through the middle of one.
Layouts
| Option | What you get |
|---|---|
| Portrait | Two bars per line. Easiest to read; more pages. |
| Landscape | Four bars per line on a sideways page. |
| Compact | Drops the phrase headers, the key and extra spacing so a whole song usually fits on one or two pages. Works with either orientation. |
Set the print dialog's orientation to match the one you picked.
PNG images
Download PNG saves each page as an image, which is handy for texting a chart to the band or dropping it into a setlist app.
Gig view
Gig view in the header shows the chart big and clean, one page at a time, for a tablet or laptop on the stand.
- Turn pages by tapping the right or left half of the screen, or with the arrow keys, Page Up and Page Down, or the space bar. A Bluetooth page-turner pedal that sends arrow or page keys works too.
- A− and A+ make the staves smaller or bigger. The size is remembered.
- The bar at the top hides itself after a few seconds; tap anywhere to bring it back.
- The screen stays on while gig view is open, on browsers that allow it.
- ← Editor goes back to editing.
Before the gig: install the app on the tablet and open each song's gig view once at home. Everything works offline after that. See Phones and tablets.
