Keyboard shortcuts
Rhythm Writer works fully by touch, but with a keyboard these save time. On a Mac, use Cmd where it says Ctrl.
Editing

| Ctrl+Enter | Add a section below the row you're in |
| Ctrl+Shift+Enter | Add a phrase under the row you're in |
| Ctrl+Z | Undo |
| Ctrl+Y or Ctrl+Shift+Z | Redo |
In the grid

| Click, or drag | Paint with the current mode (hit, accent or ghost) |
| Shift+click | Accent, whatever the mode switch says |
| Ctrl+click | Ghost note, whatever the mode switch says |
| Click a lane name | Hits on the beats; again for 8ths, again for 16ths; once more clears (hi-hat: closed first, then the same with open hats) |
| Shift+click a lane name | Clear the lane |
